SIA facilitated Long An Province delegation’s semiconductor study tour at NYCU

On August 26, Southeast-Asia Influence Alliance (SIA) successfully organized a three-day learning and exchange visit to Taiwan for the Deputy Governor of Long An Province, along with several provincial officials and industrial zone leaders from Long An Province. On the first day of the visit, the delegation visited the renowned National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) in Taiwan, where Professor Horng-Shou, Koo delivered two specialized courses.

The courses covered the basic theories of semiconductors, the development history of Taiwan’s semiconductor industry, and how NYCU has cultivated numerous outstanding talents in this field. These sessions not only provided Vietnamese officials with a deeper understanding of the semiconductor industry but also offered valuable insights for Vietnam’s future development in this sector.

Later in the afternoon, the delegation visited the International College of Semiconductor Technology and had a meeting with Dean Edward Yi Chang

They then toured at the Nanocenter, where the center’s staff introduced the team to its technological equipment and research projects. Professor Yi-Ming Li further explained NYCU’s admission plans for Vietnamese students.

This visit highlighted the important role of NYCU as a cradle of semiconductor talent, allowing Vietnamese officials to experience firsthand the advanced facilities and rich academic resources of a top university. The valuable courses provided by the professors deepened the Vietnamese delegation’s understanding of the semiconductor industry, further promoting talent cultivation and academic exchange between Taiwan and Vietnam in this field.

Southeast-Asia Impact Alliance played a key role in this visit, actively fostering in-depth cooperation between Taiwan and Vietnam in academic and economic areas, paving the way for potential future collaborations.
