Long An Province Delegation Visits National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech) to Explore New Opportunities in Semiconductor Education and Industry-Academia Collaboration

On the afternoon of August 28, 2024, the Southeast-Asia Impact Alliance (SIA), along with the delegations from Long An Province, visited National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech). The delegations were warmly welcomed by President Sea-Fue Wang from Taipei Tech and other senior delegates. During the visit, the delegations learned about Taipei Tech’s leadership in semiconductor education, its outstanding faculty, and its well-structured academic programs.

The Vice Chairman of Long An Province expressed great interest in Taipei Tech’s educational model, particularly its achievements in industry-academia collaboration. He was impressed by the ability of Taipei Tech students to acquire semiconductor application skills in a timely manner and the university’s innovative advancements in various high-tech fields. He expressed a desire to learn more about how Vietnamese students could enroll in Taipei Tech and how its industry-academia cooperation model could be adapted to improve Vietnam’s technology education.

This visit not only provided a valuable learning experience but also laid the foundation for future collaboration in technology and education between both parties.

The Southeast-Asia Impact Alliance (SIA) also expressed high hopes for future collaboration with Taipei Tech and extended sincere gratitude to President Wang and Taipei Tech’s Office of International Affairs for their thoughtful arrangements and hospitality, making the Long An Province delegation’s visit to Taiwan a resounding success.
