SIA Joins Meet Taipei 2024: Exploring Taiwan +1 for a Bright Startup Future

On November 23rd, the Southeast-Asia Impact Alliance (SIA) had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Meet Taipei 2024 Startup Festival, a premier exhibition that celebrates the dynamic and innovative startup ecosystem in Taiwan.

This year’s theme, “Taiwan +1,” emphasized not only growth but also a leap toward the future. As the world embraces AI and deep tech, Taiwan’s startups are uniquely positioned to rise to new challenges and opportunities. With a focus on AI, deep tech, and international growth, Meet Taipei showcased how Taiwan’s entrepreneurial spirit continues to foster innovation and collaboration.

SIA joined the event alongside Cardinal Rain, a startup incubator within our shared ecosystem under FCC Partners. Cardinal Rain plays a pivotal role in nurturing startups, providing essential resources, mentorship, and networks to help them thrive. Together, we celebrated the resilience and creativity of Taiwan’s startup community.

During the event, SIA connected with numerous inspiring startups. These conversations were not just exchanges of ideas but also the potential seeds for future collaborations. We are excited to explore how we can contribute to their journey while strengthening the bridge between Taiwan and Southeast Asia’s innovation ecosystems.

As Taiwan continues to build its “innovation jungle,” SIA is proud to play a part in supporting startups that shape a more connected and impactful future.
