SIA and FCC Partners Successfully Facilitate a Meeting Between the Keelung Government and VSI in Ho Chi Minh City

On October 23, 2024, the Southeast-Asia Impact Alliance (SIA) and representatives from FCC Partners facilitated a meeting between the Keelung City Government (Taiwan) and Viet Startup Incubator (VSI) in Ho Chi Minh City to promote startup collaboration between Vietnam and Taiwan.

The Taiwanese delegation, including leaders from Keelung City and representatives from SIA, engaged with Vietnamese partners such as Viet Startup Incubator (VSI), the Vietnam Institute for Digital Economic Development (VIDE), Vietnam Funding Exchange (VFX), Tini Group, and Toloco

This event focused on advancing the regional startup ecosystem, addressing topics such as developing solutions to support startups, expanding incubator models and co-working spaces, and exploring investment and collaboration opportunities for promising startup projects. Leaders discussed strategies to support startups, particularly in industries like tourism, innovation, and industrial development.

In addition, FCC Partners shared its long-term vision in investing in smart factories, supporting Vietnamese businesses to meet international standards, and promoting sustainable development. FCC Partners expressed particular interest in projects aimed at reducing environmental impact and improving smart supply chains, highlighting strong collaboration prospects for Vietnam’s startup ecosystem.

The strategic visit and collaboration between FCC Partners, the Keelung delegation, and Vietnamese startup organizations have opened new opportunities. These include potential advancements in logistics, marine economy, and smart manufacturing, while also fostering bilateral economic and technological relations for sustainable development and regional connectivity in Southeast Asia.
