SIA Leads Global Monte Jade Science and Technology Association Delegation to Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam

On Dec 9, Southeast-Asia Impact Alliance (SIA) successfully organized a visit by the Global Monte Jade Science and Technology Association delegation to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hanoi, Vietnam. The visit marked an important opportunity to present the outcomes of their working trip and discuss the potential for cooperation between Vietnam and Taiwan in innovation and the semiconductor industry.

This initiative aims to strengthen bilateral collaboration and unlock numerous opportunities for the development of Vietnam’s high-tech industries. The delegation, led by Mr. Liming Hu, included esteemed business leaders from the United States and Taiwan. Mr. Liming Hu is the co-founder of Ellie Mae (NYSE: ELLI), recognized by the Wall Street Journal as the most successful IPO in the U.S. since the 2008 financial crisis.

During their trip, the delegation conducted a site visit to Hai Phong City to assess the local investment environment, met with leaders from the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority (HEZA), and engaged in discussions with representatives of Vietnam’s National Innovation Center (NIC) on cooperation opportunities and the potential for developing Vietnam’s semiconductor industry.
