Southeast-Asia Impact Alliance (SIA) Participated In An Investment Forum Organized By The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) In Taipei

On 28 October 2024, Southeast-Asia Impact Alliance (SIA) was honored to participate in an investment forum organized by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) in Taipei, followed by a productive networking dinner.

This event brought together a distinguished group of attendees, including Ms. Atty. Cheloy E. Velicaria-Garafil, the Philippine Representative to Taiwan, Mr. Anthony from The Philippine Trade & Investment Center in Taipei, as well as over 20 Philippine dignitaries and Taiwanese business leaders.

The Philippines holds strategic importance for Taiwan, particularly as a focal point in Taiwan’s New Southbound Policy and its alignment with the United States. Renewable energy, in particular, represents a key area of mutual interest. Several prominent industrial companies were present at the event, such as SHINFOX ENERGY CO., LTD. and Century Wind Power, underscoring the potential for collaborative progress in this sector.

During the event, SIA had the privilege of connecting with Mr. Tereso O. Panga, PEZA’s representative, who expressed genuine enthusiasm for potential collaborations with us. Moving forward, SIA will be supporting PEZA in organizing initiatives centered on Philippine investment opportunities and clean energy solutions in Taiwan. Through these activities, we aim to deepen exchanges and reinforce the bonds of cooperation between Taiwan and the Philippines.
