On July 1, 2022, CardinalRain signed a MoU with Viet Startup Incubator (VSI).

Representatives from CardinalRain Inc, including Founder Mr. CY Huang, Vice President Ms. Nicole Chan, Director Mr. Julian Su, Head of the InnoSquare project Ms. Pham Thi Thoa, along with project managers Mr.Dang Thanh Chung and Mr. Nguyen Trung Quan, were present. The representatives from Viet Startup Incubator (VSI) included Dr.Tran Quy, Head of the Institute of Digital Economics of Vietnam and Senior Advisor at VSI; Mr. Nguyen Francis Tuan Anh, Advisor to the Ministry of Science and Technology and Senior Advisor at VSI; Mr. Lu Vincent The Hung, CEO of A.YEARSIN Technology Investment Company and Chairman of the VSI Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Tan Huy, Vice President of the Vietnam Entrepreneur Science Union and Chairman of the Advisory Board at VSI; and Ms. Bui Thi Thuy Tien (Mary Bui), Founder and CEO of Viet Startup Incubator.

Viet Startup Incubator (VSI) is a provider of programs for Incubation, Acceleration, Fundraising, as well as support services for innovative startups. Applying cutting-edge technologies to develop the startup social network, digital incubators, and fundraising platforms, VSI contributes to building and developing the National Innovative Startup Ecosystem in Ho Chi Minh City. With its four core values: Trendsetting, Practicality, Effectiveness, and Commitment, VSI carries out its mission of guiding, training, supporting, and promoting the rapid but sustainable development of Vietnamese innovative startups.

The signing ceremony was attended by representatives from both Vietnam and Taiwan, conducted online.

During the event, the parties shared their directions, content, and plans for upcoming activities to collaborate in implementing joint initiatives that connect ecosystems and support the startup and business communities in the two cities and the two countries – and beyond, encompassing the broader Southeast Asian region.

Specifically, the collaborative content includes a focus on the following aspects:

1. Investment Connection Collaboration: Between the startup ecosystems of Taiwan and Vietnam, supporting Vietnamese startups entering the Taiwanese market and Taiwanese startups entering the Vietnamese market.
2. Training Collaboration: Providing training programs to support research and market expansion into Vietnam and Taiwan.
3. Human Resources Recruitment Collaboration: Collaborating on research and development of student communities and well-trained human resources to support startup ecosystems in both regions. Building partnerships with universities for mutual support.
4. Joint organization of online workshops, competitions, conferences, or exhibitions related to building and developing the startup communities in Vietnam and Taiwan. Promoting and facilitating exchanges and close collaboration between the two regions.

The signing ceremony took place in a formal and friendly atmosphere. Following the ceremony, the parties officially planned for the upcoming collaborative programs.
