On the afternoon of September 26, 2023, the Vietnamese semiconductor delegation continued their visit and held a working meeting with the Management Committee of the Hoa-Lac Hi-Tech Park. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Vice Chairman Tran Dac Trung of the Management Committee and Deputy Director Le Hoang Nam Thang of the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment’s Office of Foreign Economic Affairs.

The meeting took place at the office of the Management Committee of the Hoa-Lac Hi-Tech Park, where both parties engaged in a detailed discussion about the characteristics and advantages of the Hoa-Lac Hi-Tech Park in attracting high-tech enterprises, especially in the semiconductor field. Located near the center of Hanoi, the Hoa-Lac Hi-Tech Park offers attractive incentives and comprehensive services. It features the National Innovation Center (NIC) and institutions like FPT University. The region is poised to become a paradigm for Vietnam’s future economy—a smart technology ecosystem city, attracting and providing conditions to support investors in research and development, training, entrepreneurship incubation, technology transfer, and sustainable development in high-tech product manufacturing.

The meeting, held at the headquarters of the Management Committee, saw discussions between both parties and the Hoa-Lac Hi-Tech Park on the unique characteristics and advantages in attracting high-tech enterprises, particularly in the semiconductor industry. Situated near the center of Hanoi, the Hoa-Lac Hi-Tech Park benefits from substantial incentives and a full range of services. It serves not only as the location of the National Innovation Center (NIC) but also as the hub for numerous companies under FPT, a leading IT company group in Vietnam.

The Hoa-Lac Hi-Tech Park is anticipated to be a pioneering model for Vietnam’s future economy—a smart city dedicated to science and technology.
