越南為半導體產業之新興市場

According to Linda Tan, chairman of the Southeast Asian Semiconductor Association (SEMI), Vietnam is an emerging market for the semiconductor industry and will continue to grow in the future. At present, the world’s two largest chip production groups such as Intel and Samsung have invested in the production of semiconductor components in Vietnam. In addition, manufacturers such as Renesas and Synopys have selected Vietnam as their investment base. The Vietnamese company Viettel Group has planned to produce chips. In September of this year (2022), the Vietnamese company FPT Semiconductor announced chips for IoT products in the medical field. According to Pham Duc Long, Vietnam’s Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, joining the provincial chip planting team will enter a new era for Vietnam, where it can develop or receive the most advanced technology.
